The Enfield Learning Trust is a partnership of three successful primary schools in Enfield. Across the partnership everyone works hard, learning is fun and pupil voice is valued. We have great children who are keen to learn and state of the art resources including Apple Mac technology. Bowes Primary School is designated a National Teaching School and is part of the Enfield Teaching School Alliance.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bowes Primary School to join our support staff team as a Specialist Teaching Assistant in our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) for Communication and Interaction Needs.
The Specialist Teaching Assistant would play a key role in supporting the pupils in the ARP and be adaptable, hard working and flexible within their role. The successful candidate must have experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum within a mainstream or specialist school setting. They will need to be a well-organised person who can work both independently and as part of a team. Most importantly they must have the skills to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
With easy access into central London, our school is ideal for candidates wanting to live in either inner or outer London. We value the wellbeing of our staff and provide opportunities to ensure staff have a good work life balance.
In line with recent legislation, applicants must have a command of spoken English that is sufficient to effectively carry out the duties of the role.
Visits are warmly welcome, please contact Effie Demetriou, the Associate Headteacher on 0208 368 2552 to arrange this or for any further information.
